Additional benefits:

  • The event spans ten days with continual visitors, including nighttime when the field is illuminated.
  • It is an incredible photo opportunity and attracts many professional photographers.
  • The media is informed about the event and is strongly encouraged to attend the opening ceremony in addition to reporting on the field at different times of the day and night.
  • The sponsorship banners stay up throughout the ten days.

Advertising Benefits

The Field of Honor is one of the most impressive ‘billboards’. The banners are at the front, and street side of the flag display in Merrill Park. They are visible to people passing by in their automobiles and to visitors walking through the field. Walkers and bicyclists on the pathways pass the signage at all times of the day. Each sponsor will have a flag flying in the event so that spectators walking through the field are able to read the ribbons recognizing the generosity of the sponsors.

Non-Profit Status

The Eagle Field of Honor is affiliated with the Colonial Flag Foundation for use as a non-profit organization. The Colonial Flag Foundation is a 501c3 designation which allows businesses, to write-off a sponsorship as a donation. The federal tax id # 47-0926217 and can be used to report your donation.

Beneficiary

The Eagle Field of Honor is considered a fund raising event. If there are any funds remaining at the close of the event, the monies will be donated to Brave Hearts Idaho and the Idaho State Veterans Home. The Brave Hearts Corporation works in conjunction with the Idaho Veterans Assistance League, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, to help Idaho Veterans and their families who are facing financial crisis.

The funds Brave Hearts receives are distributed in one-time grants up to $500.00 for the needs of our Idaho Veterans – from paying their power and heating bills, home or mortgage expenses to emergency home or car repairs. All cases are thoroughly and thoughtfully considered, as in the case of a terminally ill Veteran dying from the side effects he received in Vietnam from Agent Orange. This brave Veteran received a grant to travel to his home to be laid to rest in the family plot.

Brave Hearts relies, in big part, on the contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations whose hearts are touched by the great need of those courageous men and women who have served our great country. It should be noted all Brave Hearts staff and board members are entirely volunteers, donating their time and talent to the organization. With little overhead, virtually all funds received are donated to our Veterans.

PURPOSE: The general nature and purpose of this corporation shall be: The receipt, collection, and holding of donated monies for redistribution in the way of providing emergency funding for Idaho Veterans and their families who are experiencing critical need.

Conclusion

A sponsorship of the Eagle Field of Honor will be appreciated by the veterans and the currently serving military. Because of technology, the military personal serving overseas can view the Field of Honor and know that they are supported ‘back home’. We welcome the involvement of the employees of the sponsors. There is an opportunity to give back to the community, not only monetarily, but also with volunteers. Sponsors and their employees are welcome to take part in this moving event. From set-up to retiring the flags, there is an opening for anyone to feel the unity of honoring the brave men and women of the United States Military.
